As a student CTE has impacted me a lot, I took business management classes for the past three years and although understanding a lot of the financials was difficult for me I am glad I took it. Business can be applied anywhere and is very interchangeable, other CTEs provide similar education that can be used in the real world after high school. My leadership through FBLA and being a state officer has benefitted a lot, I used to be more of the type of person that lets others take charge at any opportunity, now I see myself as the one that usually takes charge. I have also created a lot of confidence, and not just from wearing a blazer, FBLA has taught me a lot about being confident and believing in what you are saying. This can be applied to moral, or even just a competitive event, FBLA helped me with sticking up for what I believe in and standing by it. Lastly FBLA has helped me a lot with my future and what I want to do when I grow up, I want to go to college and become a Physician Assistant in the long run and FBLA has provided the business skills I need in order to do this. In conclusion, I love FBLA and I hope I impacted others in a way that makes them love FBLA as well.
