Reflection

As The Vice President of Chapter Development it was my responsibility to turn assignments in such as letters and plans to expand membership and chapter growth in Arizona. This taught me a lot about recruitment and about a job in the marketing industry. Being a state officer in general also taught me a lot about being on time. Although I thought I was good at staying on time before, the state office pushed me even more so. In a few instances I almost forgot something was due and I was able to finish it and turn it in on time. In accordance to being on time, I also learned better time management and how to plan out my day better. With this new job as an officer at the beginning of the year I wanted to make sure I had enough time to stay up on my grades, this allowed me to schedule my day out to the minute to make sure I would have ample time to complete whatever I needed to.

I love FBLA it has one a lot for me, it was a confidence booster when I needed it, and was a way to bring me more out of my shell to try new things. I was able to meet a lot of people and although I am not the most amazing member when it comes to competitive events , I will do my best and try my hardest to win.
